Jorge Drexler brings his “Taracá” Tour to Asunción
On Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, Oscar-winning Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler returns to Asunción to present his latest studio album, Taracá, in a full live concert experience. Drexler, who received the Academy Award for Best Original Song with Al otro lado del río and has won multiple Latin Grammys, is one of the most respected voices in contemporary Latin American music.
Accompanied by seven musicians on stage, he will perform a setlist that mixes older songs with the new material from Taracá, an album that leans on quiet electronic textures and folk arrangements rather than the looping guitar tricks he’s known for. If you’ve only heard Al otro lado del río, expect something more restrained.
